Running a business is hectic enough while trying to make the most of each day. We have noticed that efficiency comes up quite often during conversations with our clients. Efficiency can also cause stress, as everything has to be planned and then executed quickly. We’d like to help make your visit enjoyable. Here are five tips to ensure that you leave with your newest and most valued purchases completely unfrazzled:

  1. Choose the right day

Trends & Trade is open seven days a week, even on a number of public holidays such as Good Friday, Ascension Day, and Whit Monday. As retailers like yourself often close on such days, you have an extra opportunity to purchase stock. This means that our wholesale centre sees a slight increase in the number of visitors during these days. You may notice that Trends & Trade is busier on German public holidays in particular, such as German Unity Day and All Saints’ Day. If you would rather avoid longer queues at the checkout, please look at the opening times on our website to see if there are any German public holidays soon.

  1. Let us package and dispatch your purchases

Arriving at the checkout is the one moment we are all too familiar with, though we don’t always look forward to it. It means queuing, unloading your trolley onto the conveyor belt, loading it back into your trolley, and finally putting all your purchases in your car. Sometimes you wonder whether all your purchases will fit in the car. You can opt to pack and transport your new purchases yourself, as we have plenty of packaging materials available after the checkouts. We can also lend a helping hand by letting staff of Trends & Trade carefully package your purchases and having the transport service deliver your goods to you, leaving you free to get into your car brimming with inspiration and awaiting your shipment. Ask our service desk staff or our cashiers for our rates, delivery times, and conditions.

  1. A tasty pitstop in our restaurant

Discovering all the stands, choosing the perfect purchases, and spotting the must haves at Trends & Trade is a great way to work up an appetite. There’s no better way to take a break than visiting our restaurant. Chef Joe and his team are there to welcome you with a tasty sandwich, a delicious spaghetti dish, or a cup of coffee with a slice of vlaai (Limburg’s sweet speciality). It’s a great way to recharge your batteries before continuing your search for stock with renewed energy. If you need an energy boost before heading home, we have both coffee machines and vending machines next to the checkouts.

  1. Book your stay at a nearby hotel

If you are travelling a long way or plan on a visiting Trends & Trade on a few consecutive days, Book an overnight stay at a nearby hotel. This ensures you can take your time searching for stock. We have made special arrangements with several hotels in the area to ensure discounts of between ten and fifteen per cent off your booking to sweeten the deal. This will help you relax and make the most of your visit.

  1. If possible, only take one Danish cart into the hall at a time

You may have planned a trip to Trends & Trade to purchase many large items, or so many products that you need several Danish carts. If that is the case, there’s no need to push too many heavy Danish carts through the hall by yourself. As soon as you notice your cart becoming too heavy or overfull to manoeuvre, you can detach it and park it at the cart station opposite the checkouts. You can collect all your carts when you proceed to the checkout.

We hope these tips will ensure your next visit to Trends & Trade is better than ever before. We look forward to seeing you again soon at Trends & Trade. Please let us know if you have helpful tips that could help us or your fellow customers!
